Companion is a horror-comedy movie written and directed by Drew Hancock. In-person relation is out of the scene since every aspect of life is centered on online. Getting to date someone and having official meetings are all done using online apps. This loving starting movie, gets better at midpoint and later bloody, staring Sophie Thatcher (Iris), Jack Quaid (Josh), Megan Suri (Kat), Harvey Guillén (Eli) Lukas Gage (Patrick) and Rupert Friend (Sergi).

Iris is seen pushing a supermarket cart, and this marks the beginning of the movie. Iris is a humanoid bot developed for spot on company; it can serve the goals of unwavering dedication and sex. The movie portrays persons, regardless of their actions feel they are due something or whatever they want.

The script written by Drew Hancock is made up of humor-driven comedy influenced by over-the-top behavior of Quaid and the playful humor of Guillén, not forgetting the perfect delivery by Thatcher for playing the role of remarkable horror performance.

Even though the film doesn’t achieve its capability, it offers some exceptional scenes of moments of bloodshed together with some more standard kills. Companion could have pressed both its horror and comedy much extra.

The movie’s first death comes when Iris murders Friend’s character, Sergi, after he attempts to sexually take advantage of her on the beach below his easily remote house in the woods, a long way from town. It must be said that this murder is rather not exciting, and there wasn’t any improvement the moment Iris informs the group about what she has done. It was later revealed that Kat lied to Josh so they can set Iris up to kill Sergi in other to get his money.

Companion features an entertainment observation on respect, self-love and relationship, as well as the world’s emerging desire for technology. The writers had good concepts and a strong cast to bring those ideas to life as effectively as possible. We would say it was unfortunately not anything special though we liked it more than other movies. Notwithstanding the flaws we realized about the movie, it remains an entertaining entry in the sci-fi horror category.
